The BriefMarriott Taghazout Bay Resort is a luxury beachfront destination in Morocco that welcomes an international audience. The project involved developing a bilingual signage system in French and English that would support wayfinding throughout the resort while maintaining the clarity, elegance and consistency expected of the Marriott brand. The system also needed to respond to the local context and contribute to a seamless guest experience across the property.

Rather than relying on the highly decorative approach often associated with luxury hospitality, the signage system was designed around a more restrained and minimalist visual language. Drawing inspiration from Moroccan craftsmanship and materiality, the design incorporated wood and Corian white marble to create a sense of understated luxury. Clear typography, thoughtful hierarchy and a consistent visual structure ensured the system remained functional and easy to navigate, while the material palette helped connect the signage to the character of the resort and its surroundings.
